Why Kads?
The major problems faced by the farming community are the lack of planning, lack of coordination, and lack of market intelligence. Take, for instance, the production of bananas during a festival season like Onam; sometimes the market could see an overload of bananas in the market-leading to a steep fall in prices. On another occasion, we could see utter scarcity and thus an unusual price rise. It is the case with pineapple and other fruits and vegetables.
KADS PCL desires to end all the uncertainties in the rural farm sector through an intensive field study to understand correctly and systematically the present supply position from each household and plan for the required supply of an assured quantity of products of each crop uninterrupted throughout the season, which will bring the proper amount to the farmers and will also boon the Country's economy.
